Anyone have an idea why there are a load of police cars down in the Proact carpark?

Is that the reason or speculation?

Seems a bit premature and not sure how many police would be required for an England U21 game against Andorra in any case.

Not the scenario I was hoping for. Had images of computers being seized, boxes and sacks of documents being carried across the carpark to an awaiting van, wrong kit being tasered in the gonads and chucked into  the back of a maria whilst screaming and crying. Ah well!

Various police running up and down Sheffield Road as I went past.

Maybe the FA have told them to avoid the former chippy.

A soft target, like Andorra U-21 and Chesterfield FC?

Too many episodes of Bodyguard?

In the absence of any Serious Fraud vehicles, I'd assume its another major incident trianing session, same as the one there a couple of weeks ago.

Are there marked 'Serious Fraud' vehicles, and if so, why?
These go to eleven.

Just drove past. Loads of cars & vans near away end, and 1 copper stood in tesco entrance road with another on other side of sheff rd.
Spoke to wife and she said they are checking for unroadworthy vehicles, one of her young mates got pulled by them on way into tesco and had her car checked over.

It’s only profitable if folk are breaking the law right? So not a waste of time?

If it takes unroadworthy cars off the road before they kill someone why is it a waste of time?

It's a revenue making exercise for police.
Happens at 6 sites a day in London.
Yep it's good at stopping offenders- anything that does that is good of course but when the police won't even investigate car crime such as theft or criminal damage ....,
