That statement worries me on various levels.

me too..........you wont get there without spending a lot of money, and unless they intend to give the corner of the east stand and the away goal end to bigger clubs to ensure sell outs with a puny relegation budget hows it going to work?

can someone ask about the 5 and 10 year loans, and when they will be paid and how this structured debt impacts the overall situation?
A new hope.

Bristol City lost £13M in the year to 31 May 2013 and £14M the year before. However in the later year, the chairman, Steve Lansdowne wiped out £35M of debt. Bigger pockets not bigger crowds. Bigger crowds tend to mean bigger expectations, and therefore bigger wages bills and bigger debts.

Yeah nothing new, but DA certainly knows how to put a downer on things, we've got our crowd levels, they aren't gona improve by too much, complaining about the customers not turning up isn't gona help

Tbh I don't think thats included in tonight's discussions , that will go onto the 2014/15 accounts which can't be commented on yet because they obviously haven't been completed yet.

I think you can but you would need a good manager, a good squad and a slice of good fortune. Did Rotherham actually spend mega bucks to get out of L1 ??

How are we losing so much? Apparently we have a banqueting suite manager, it's not all going on playing staff

and

For Colchester, the team travelled down in the morning and went to bed in the afternoon, presumably not in a hedge row, how much did that cost?

What return did that bring?

Wonder where the money is going!!!!!!

How do you hold banquets, wedding parties and other dinner events without a banqueting manager? I would imagine its one area where we do make money.
As for travelling overnight, that's the Cilve Woodward, Dave Brailsford philosophy isn't it? Give your team nothing to moan about, give them no excuses.

And maybe give them egos they don't deserve? The bottom line is, does this treatment improve performances and results?

As for the banqueting manager, maybe we do need one, maybe we don't need one, but it is a big clue to where our massive increase in turnover evaporates to. It would be good if we see how much profit this side of the business brings in, but the accounts don't illustrate it

...we arn't losing money. We lost the money last year. This year we already have enough cash to invest in a scoreboard which will earn us £100k ad infinitum.

Guff

We are not talking about a year that hasn't ended, we are talking the last reporting year in which we made a massive loss on top of the previous year when we made another loss

And £100K which 4000 can see (on a really good day) 50 hours/year, maybe :D maybe not

Why don't you listen to DA rather that me?

No - he's a shareholder and that came from the AGM tonight.
