He and his entourage came round Brim a few weeks ago, he sent his staff to knock on the doors, and stood at the top of the path/driveways to gauge reaction before approaching the homeowner at their door.

Was also a guest of the club a few weeks ago (Rochdale game I think), being entertained in the boardroom.

The only test is what would he do in power? - as Mayor of London, I'm struggling to think of any Conservative or even Thatcherite policies he's introduced.

He believes in all the same things that Cameron does, I tell thee. The pursuit of office for the sake of it and for looking after his mates. He just packages it differently to Cameron.

Blair understood style over substance more than anyone. Vacuous, empty headed soundbytes - as slippery as a snake oil saleman.

Blair, Cameron, Miliband, Johnson, Clegg - all come from the same place - with a slight tweak, any could fit into the other parties.

The Labour Party are not Socialist in the same way that the Tories are not Conservative
