And yet is in one of the 2 teams competing in the L2 Play-off final. Must be doing something right.

Good luck to him I'm glad he's found a system that works for him and is enjoying his football. Pretty sure it's all been sorted for him to join them permanently since Jan

You don’t know that your just speculating

Drummond is basically on a years trial, If he does well I'd expect him to be singing a new deal in December.

Berry Sale was announced as "makes the move to Chesterfield FC for new club record undisclosed fee."

Macclesfield Towns record sale was 300k (Rickie Lambert to Stockport County) but given they're now AFC Macclesfield I think it's more likely to have been in the 75-125k range

More subs this time isn’t, Cook should use the squad more. The players look shattered towards the end of last season.

Got to agree but wage demands will be the biggest factor.

Given we can only register 22 players (plus GKs) over 21 due to EFL rules seems an interesting decision to sign a 34 year old?

I trust cookie though, Jones was about that age when he signed is always great when he plays

Just found this cracking vid recently posted on YouTube and it’s well worth a watch. Disagree with him a little about the new ground but some cracking pics in the vid and brought back some great memories!

Great video, must admit as much as I love the new ground and how far the club has come etc. I do miss it being in the heart of town.

SEB was way past it and a poor signing on purely the name Ebanks Blake stealing a wage. In fact after ending his time here, he went straight to a couple of 'Dog & Duck' teams.

Evans was basically keeping fit and biding his time. He never got out of second gear and looked like he had no intentionof busting a gut for the cause.
That's why (footballing wise) I personally dislike these two players.

Evan's signed a new deal for us so we could get a fee for him knowing he was wanted and could have walked. Footballing wise he was good, I didn't think we should have signed him given the risk he was guilty but at the end of the day we got a nice fee didn't we?

SEB was your average league 2 striker but on very high L1 wages, that's why people didn't like him. That being said he's certainly in the bottom 25% of strikers we've had in the last 30 years
