Most of our refresher courses mainly are due diligence, avoiding poor title, cars with mileage blockers, used as weekend rental cars while on finance, hpi clear but damage repaired bought via salvage auction, chipped cars

    Buy a mapped R8 and you?re ?20k down easily

You wouldn?t believe the potential pitfalls when spending ?1.5m a month of the companies money , you need your wits about you.

Of course I would, I've been in business for years and signed contracts for millions with much bigger companies and organisations...

But you still have to know how to deal with people properly these days so as not to put your employer in court due to not treating people according to the law....

Saw a great one today, a lawyer who used the pronoun they posting on LinkedIn about a promotion, first reply by an old school lawyer saying "good man".... some people can be led to the water but they still dont drink...

Yet, Labour (the ones to blame for massaging the unemployment figures by dumbing down the education system, allowing thicktards into university to study pointless courses and, of course, introducing tuition fees) are set to increase tuition fees for all courses. Yet, as bs spin would have it, they previously pledged to scrap tution fees. Hilarious.

Anyone remember E2E?... another Labour gem; another transparant attempt to massage unemployment figures.

Labour....the party of the working class.

They are the party of business - 121 business leaders have signed a letter dont you know. Well some of them are business leaders, a few are leaders of dormant companies or used to lead businesses...

Couldnt agree more on the uni point - when I was at school about 10% stayed to 6th form and about half of them went to uni. When my daughter was in 6th form, 90% stayed on to 6th form and 90% of them went to uni. All they did was make a degree the expected base qualification...

Read a piece today about apprenticeships and some young lad was saying he was loving his apprentice train driver on ?50k a year... not surprised! But for many people (and my daughter would say she was one of them) on the job learning and getting paid is more appealing than uni studies...

An Islamic male from Somalia/Syria as a midwife?

Er no I don?t think they?d be suitable staff

Are you saying men can't be midwives? You really do need that D,E and I training... has your employer got any to offer? Maybe they need to recruit someone :)

"However, it is understood HMRC looked into the matter at Ms Raynor's request and concluded there was no CGT liability".

"We have also concluded that no further action will be taken on behalf of the council".

Ian, it's there, in black and white.

Police, HMRC and Stockport council all saying nothing wrong.

So please, demonstrate the decency I know you posses, admit you got this one wrong and prove yourself superior to a Mail-esque media that'll no doubt accuse Angie Raynor for wasting police time, now...

It is understood at her request, but not following the police file?

I didn't get it wrong on PPR, you can't have two. She could have zero tax liability if the house had been improved... but that isn't the same as saying she told the truth.

So nope, if this was a Tory MP you wouldn't be giving up, and nor am I. The law is the law, you can only have one PPR so she didn't get tax advice saying otherwise...

    General election?

The tories are raring to go...erm, on holiday...

    https://inews.co.uk/...co=most_popular

Meanwhile I'm surprised those who get undies into undulations over pensions and demand every policy must be fully costed aren't all over this...

    https://www.independ...s-b2552508.html

    But hey, Angie Raynor...

Its coming from clamping down on tax dodgers... a line taken straight from the Labour leaflet on how they are paying for stuff.... that and VAT on schools, which apparently could result in half of kids who would go to private school needing to be absorbed by the state in the next 5 years...

But thanks for confirming they are both as bad as each other!

PS in very basic economics they teach about elasticity of demand - what happens to demand as prices change. You find that necessities are inelastic - so demand changes little when price goes up and so revenue rises. For luxuries they tend to be elastic so demand goes down alot (a bigger precentage) when prices rise and so revenue falls. Private education is probably a luxury for many - so substitute price rise with "prices rise due to adding VAT" and see what will happen... This is month 1 of a GCSE course, you'd think Reeves and SKS would know that much...

As for the holiday, its half term, it was probably booked... would I go in his position, absolutely not!

    Party line. Anyone But Conservatives

and bizarrely criticising the Tories for using a line from the Labour funding money tree... apparently it can only be used by Labour, doesnt work for the Tories...

    Hi,
Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
    Thanks
    Andy ...

Hi. I'm a season ticket holder who unfortunately will be travelling to Gran Canaria on 8th of Jan.
Happy to get you a ticket for Chelsea if you're struggling. Regards Nigel.

Thanks for the invite - would have loved to have joined you but I am moving house tomorrow so day not in the office or in London!
Might have joined as the political conversations might have been more up my street than most on the board!

If you live in London, you're welcome to join a couple of Spireites tomorrow (Monday) evening where the main topic of conversation will be Chesterfield FC amongst other things. All very friendly. We'll be in the Williamson Tavern near St Pauls about 7.30. Sorry for the short notice.
    regards
    John
