We've just lost by 1 goal to the team currently 2nd in the league. Our home form is decent but suddenly we're crap again. Such is the life of a Spireite.

We are an average team in a division full of average teams, of which any 4 can go down. You do feel as though its going to be a long crawl to the transfer window though.

I fear we will no more than a couple of away games on the road this season, we just can't dig in and grind out results.

On this form we will need to win over half our home games just to be with in a chance of avoiding the bottom 4. A big ask in my opinion with such a threadbare squad.

All these average teams need to avoild injuries and at the moment we are in deficit

Listening to DW's interview on Peak, he sounded annoyed, a bit panicky and it was a bit unsettling. Clearly the failure of the attackers was his major greivence. I can only guess who they were! He said he'd replace them if they don't improve: with who Danny?

Something that raised my eyebrows was the talk of Bury having all these options on the bench and Danny's reaction
