To be honest we have not been that good since the Mansfield defeat, and if we had the same number of points as have now in any of the other divisions we would be miles off the top, in league 1 we would be 6th. We are lucky that none of the other teams are particularly brilliant, and have all dropped points, even Scunthorpe with 26 games unbeaten have actually drawn more than have won.

which means that despite how good we'd like to think we'd be against L1 opposition week in week out, there could well be a massive rebuild operation during the summer. It takes some doing to raise our game for every match. It won't be easy and we must not be complacent if we do go up.

Try facts. A poster said we are the best side by far in the league. Facts to date say we aren't. Simple really.

Yes. Currently we are the third best team in the league. By the end of the season we might be the best team in the league or the forth best team in the league. There's no real debate to be had here.

In the Cup match I dont think we had our strongest line-up on the pitch and since the match at Roots Hall when they went above us what have they done since?

We might be the best footballing side in the division, but as we saw at wembley goals win games.

You dont get points for playing pretty football, you dont get points for dodgy offsides or goals ruled out etc, or being unlucky. Its points and goal difference.

We are currently 3rd in the league, because two other sides have ammassed more points than us, and in 4 games time we will finish in the position we deserve, based on results.
