It'll get grief from some and we'll have the usual i can go to Man City for a tenner type posts but its not that bad pricing wise to be honest.

Definitely not. There won't be many grounds you can get into for twenty quid next season. The key to making it viable is to increase the £pp spend once in the ground.

I went to all 23 games and bought 23 x 50/50 tickets, two pies (for my lad) and two pints in all those visits.

What's your lad done to deserve such punishment?

Claimed hunger that couldn't wait so sent him with my card at the end of HT (about the only time it's possible to get served reasonably quickly without missing 10 mins of the 1st half).

My first year having a season ticket in quite a while, good one to pick, and with my mates lad now able to drive we've spent a bit more on the concourses having a beer pre game and a couple of times we've sneaked one in a half time as well...benefit of being in the West Stand!!

New admission prices for 2024/25
https://chesterfield...cket-Prices.pdf

I think the match day ticket prices are very reasonable, I expected them to go up by more than a pound given the increase in season ticket prices. From a purely financial viewpoint the season ticket just doesn’t make sense. I would have to attend 20 of the 23 games to make it cheaper than buying on a match by match basis. I already know I won’t be able to attend games for 3 weeks in November (4 Saturdays), so suspect when the fixture list comes out I will be missing at least 2, maybe 3 games.
I am also 65 in a few weeks and not impressed that the cut off for seniors has been raised to 66. I haven’t found any other club in the EFL that has done this.

Difference between the cost of my season ticket and paying game by game works out at about 5 games, i'll miss 3 maybe 4 depending on how fixtures drop but for me its not just the financial side of it. Its a whole lot easier than messing about buying individual tickets for each game especially with the increased crowds making it very difficult to get a seat near my mate who goes with his kids and who i go to games with. The games i miss my ticket generally gets used by one of our other mates and i get a pint in return and its all good. This season was so much easier just knowing my ticket for all the league games is done and dusted even if i was not better off buying a season ticket.

In terms of the raise of age i think there is no set age across the EFL and its set at all manner of different things, Spurs are looking to drop it completely and just have one adult price for all ages i think.

You get what you pay for.

And if folk think it's worth twenty-odd quid they'll pay it.

Which under this manager it truly has been...

Probably already been said but for the sake of one day I don't think it would have hurt to make the deadline May 1.
Many people get paid on the 1st of the month.

“ A heads up, we’re currently holding your seat and renewal price, but this will only be the case until 30th April. After that, your seat will be up for grabs for another town fan!” on my reminder email. I thought 30/4 was just early bird date??

Not quite is it?

I thought they were allocating a few days for ST holders to move/upgrade to other unclaimed seats?

Don’t see your reasoning there. That suggests that if you wait until after that date you’ll run the risk of someone might take your seat and you’ll have to move and pay extra for then privilege. Still sounds like an early bird to me.

2 weeks, although I was told there'd be a £10 admin fee too which I thought was a bit much
