I do not envy Ashley. Last one in the firing line and no idea what the FA are sat on.

I see a personal hearing looms.
What the FA need to focus on is the apparent ease with which unscrupulous individuals can bypass their rules. Those concerned were fortunately too stupid to consider that a few brave people would be prepared to withstand being shat on and bullied. Allen must be gobsmacked at the sheer level of arrogance and stupidity.
A personal hearing can only mean one thing. Carson can present a defence to exonerate all current CFC personnel.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

so if the club didn't know players were being paid by the academy, did Ashley et al think these players weren't being paid?
otherwise it would have shown up in the club's outgoings

I suspect you know that's as fanciful as I do.

Deducting points should be for the season in which the deed was done. Or the season in which it’s discovered. That’s my thoughts on it anyway, I’m probably wrong.
I don’t see how the FA can sit on something they’ve known about for a while then apply a points deduction for another season. This is at least a couple of years ago now and they’ve clearly known about it for a good while.

I suppose there may have been delays in the club providing information requested by the FA and that’s why it may have taken so long?

Well according to the Liquidator the club with 'nothing to hide' have failed to cooperate to the point of him having to appoint a solicitor to pursue such cooperation...

I believe the FA have been aware of this issue since early 2016. Surely, if they felt CFC were delaying the matter they have the capabilities of sending in their own investigators or, at least, threaten other actions. This matter has taken far too long whoever is to blame - Orrell is no longer with Hartlepool, the club he signed for after us, and I haven't a clue about the other lad.

Are you seriously trying to suggest the FA are somehow at fault?

What next - fans and former employees who did the right thing?

Here's what you should be focussing on - how many people were involved in contracts that clearly relied upon illegal behaviour and who, ultimately, appointed those people...

How do you work that out, that’s clearly nothing like what I said.

Okay, so you stand shoulder-to-shoulder with all those exposing wrongdoing no matter how much it costs CFC.

Good to know, my friend.

Wor I'd like to know as a non accountant is whether the absence of one or more CFC pros from the regular CFC wages run should be picked up by the accountants/auditors?

Auditors wouldnt go through each and every employee, it'd usually be a test in total, walk through tests of systems and sample testing of a selection of individuals. If the employees don't get chosen and only immaterial variances are found, usually no further action would be taken except to include on an unadjusted errors schedule

So CFC have asked for an FA hearing. God knows what lies Ashley will try to spin

I’d rather sit Trump in front of Mueller

Wonder if he'll do a 'Turner' and get interviewed, tinned up, on his way back?

If 10% of what is alleged on here is right I’m surprised the police haven’t been involved

In answer to my question at the AGM about who authorised the payments, Ashley said he'd conducted a 'full investigation'. I expect he'll take a copy of that report down with him.

Can supporters have a CFC hearing Ashley?

You can just imagine it after listening to Carson try and spin it at the hearing....committee members, once he's left the room..." well we were going to let them off with a fine, but after listening to that pile where's that large heavy tome!

I wonder if the delay has been the wait for the liquidators report for the DS?

Well it’s either everyone knew about it (my option) or a few people knew and it proves we have no financial controls whatsoever and either way we look what we are, totally incompetent, out of our depth and embarrassing.

If those at the club claim to know nothing and now they do, it’s about time the club started taking people to court rather than trying to keep sweeping stuff under the carpet.

The carpet is now, so high off the floor, they are tripping up
