My name is Carl Cox I'm 51 years young and I'm originally from Calow. I've been married to my wife Josie for over 28 years and have two children, Christine 26 and Thomas 18. I joined the army in 1981 and did almost 25 years service. My last posting was to South Cerney which is a couple of miles outside Cirencester Gloucestershire. We decided to settle in this area as my kids were settled in school and my wife had a steady job. I work in a local warehouse and am quite settled.
My first trip to Saltergate was in August 1970 against Aston Villa when I was just 6. I started going regularly in the 78-79 season hardly missing a home game up until I joined the army. I've always gone to matches whenever I've been back in this country however I drove from Germany for the play off against Bury and from Northern Ireland for the trip to Old Trafford. In more recent years I go to more away games than home due to where I live. I've sponsored goals for seven seasons now and I subscribe to Blues on the move.
