I wondered if they might get swept up in the Kevin Maher love-in. Sensibly they noted that, once the embargo had been lifted and Maher could go out and sign players, he effed it up.

Remember him didn't he joined the Welsh bill after retiring

That was Mark Kendall - Glan went on to enjoy a decent career as a goalkeeping coach.

Two tellies, mate. One on BBC, one on C4. Don't miss a single frame of the action!

No appeal to me, either. I can't say I've ever seen an episode of any of the scripted "reality" stuff that some of the players reckon to be in, and haven't watched a soap since Dirty Den emerged unscathed from the canal. Not everything will appeal to everybody, but any low gate might tell a tale about how much influence these so-called "influencers" actually have.

Did they already have contracts for next year or does it mean they could have signed new deals for next year? I don't recall Palmer or Boot already being under contract for 24/5?

If it turns out that some of those have signed new deals, then Palmer is probably the only one on there I disagree with. (Assuming Cook isn't actually on a paid contract and is there more for training numbers).

Boot signed an extension around last Feb, while I read that Palmer said last season that the club gave out the wrong contract length in the announcement when he signed, and have never corrected it.
