Hey Chris, no comments on Labours misleading 5 year cost of the increase in mortgages as a result of the Tories... sounds like a load of dodgy assumptions to me (especially the 85% loan to value, higher than the average now..).... and this from the party that reckons it can save ?xbn from tax dodgers...
They are all as bad as each other at making stuff up to get power... -

Individual pits lost money lots of pits made large profits and this constantly changed. My colliery was ?6m in profit when it was closed 3 months into the financial year. Swings and roundabouts
Correct... but the industry as a whole was losing money and couldnt sell what it made. When your pit made a profit, how was its revenue calculated, was it the actual sales price or was there some transfer price for inter pit / company transfers that gave a standard price for internal sales, and how was that calculated?
The reality is that the industry as a whole lost money so miners as a whole were being paid by the taxpayer... -

05 Jul 2023 - 20:10Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
Thanks
