Gone to bristol city?...his career is being managed on levels of stupidity beyond reason..cannot get a sniff in league 1,not a single loan game in league 2 last season..if reeves is his agent the bloke must be an utter idiot.

An Agent getting him a contract and earning commission as a result is an idiot ?

When I was told he was trialling in Bristol I assumed Rovers rather than City - fair play to the lad and his agent!

I understand your angle but surely his job is to secure him the best deal?

I agree completely with bonny, it may be the best financial package, but he isn't Gona get anywhere near the first team.

Agents of young lads, like Diego, should have the best interest of their client in mind and shouldn't be chasing the money, they should be chasing the club that's going to give him the most first team action.

On the other hand, the lad might have instructed his agent to get him as much money as possible.

That's why the lad signing from Chelsea interests me..knows it's a short career and is prepared to take a couple of steps back to move foward.

I guess Reevey must have used copies of postings taken from Bobs Board as his major selling tool and Bristol being totally unprofessional thought bludy L we'd better sign this kid
Derbyshire is Derbyshire

That's the thing. We don't what he wants. Is it reasonable to assume they expect him to be involved in the first team at some point? I doubt they're into the whole phantom player thing we've got going on with what's-his-name.

Is it just me - but, has anybody actually seen anywhere that he has signed for Bristol City?

Insider knowledge. Not hard when his Dad lives in Newbold and knows half of Chesterfield.

Small piece as well in the Sunday Mail sports section, p15, about him signing for them tomorrow as well. Maybe they read this board?

His job is surely to look after his best interests as a player and fullfill his ability....sorry im being naive but he has no chance at city.

Footballer earning money rather than having first team football shock.

Perhaps the difference in money he can earn there is far too much to turn down than what he would get at a club where he would play regularly. That may be the only offer he's got? Perhaps they aren't offering mega bucks at all just a low level contract. Who knows

I'm hearing now that Diego's on his way back to CFC tomorrow.

Apparently he's trialled at both Bristol outfits but no deals done.

Good touting on Reevesey's part, mind.

Chris, are you, in effect, suggesting I shouldn't believe everything I read on these boards?
