Ignoring the word "claiming" as we know you dont believe anything you read.... you did spot it was because overnight temps were particularly high didnt you? And in simple terms, can you remember the last time you put the heating on... cos I cant. Yep, warm and wet sounds about right to me...

I have my thermostat set at 18 same as I do all year round, and it has been coming on now and then recently. It is extremely cold for this time of year both at night and during the day.

If you think otherwise Ian, then I?m sorry but I think you need your head testing.

And set to get even colder next week, spring has not left us yet, and also when (if) it does finally warm up, the 1st person to tell me it's too hot is getting a slap, I work outside now, and sick and tired of freezing my bits off
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I'll have it examined then, but I have 17 properties worth of utilities data and over 5000 rooms which suggests we are using less than normal... and yet we are fuller than normal.... so I'll go with my data tying to the official line. I also believe they went to the moon. Sad I know...

You can use what data you like, I don?t need a weather man to tell me when it?s pi**ing down. For June it?s cold there simply isn?t even a debate if you have an ounce of sanity.

Absolutely made up propaganda from the MET office.
May was far colder and far wetter than ?average?.
They can try and fool us with editorials but we can all look up Ito the skies with are jumpers and coats on..

The comment wasnt "is it warm for June", the question was "is the average temp across the whole of May above the average... and the stats say it was (slightly more scientific than your nose or arm or whatever) and that was mainly due to night temps - which comes from the wet days, as we know cloud cover keeps the warmth in that was generated in the day...

So if you think it was unusually wet you are probably also agreeing it was likely to be warm..

Mardy? 🤣 Now then mardy bum sang the arctic monkeys

Yes it?s fair to say I was sceptical about the level of overreaction to a medical condition with a 99% + survival rate. But I was far from on my own with that one.

It was unusually wet and it was unusually cold for May
We?ve now had 9 months of cold and wet weather against what it normally is
If anyone thinks the weather we have had for the last few months is normal then they are deluded

Careful mate, the usual suspects will be along in a minute to make some really original jibes about moon landings, flat earth and tin foil hats etc just for you telling it like it is based on what you can see with your own eyes 🙄

No, just north of Watford... about 20 degrees today and sunny now, bit overcast earlier. Cant remember last time I put a jacket on for work, and 7.45 on the platform in just a polo shirt (long sleeved admittedly) does tend to get chilly if its been cold overnight..

But there is no win, Pete wont believe the official stats or my data, he thinks its been cold for June (in May) so that's it...
