Another shocking decision by the FA & Premier League.

How is this even allowed to happen without a vote from all Football League clubs?

I’d have more sympathy for premier league clubs and their fixture congestion if they all didn’t jet off to the far east or America before the season starts

Joke decision, yes may mean more minnows go through after a draw on penalties but robs clubs of the potential of big pay days

More rule changes to suit the continental top 6 clubs. If anything replays want scrapping in the qualifying rounds, a tenth tier side making a 200 mile round trip for a mid-week replay is hardly a money spinner. Only good news is the 5th round wont be played mid-week

I don’t for one minute support this idea in general, but just a thought after 120 minutes at Old Trafford in 1997 was our best chance of going through penalties or a replay?

The winter break is being scrapped so the Premier league can start later apparently.😐

Now I've had time to digest this bollux, the EFL have some recourse to fight back. First thing to do is say to the PL teams that their U21 teams will no longer be invited into the EFL Trophy, then if this ridiculous decision isn't reversed the next one is to say, you want to reduce fixture congestion? OK Premier League teams are barred from the League Cup, see how they like them apples.

In hindsight Jamie’s last minute leveller knocked the stuffing out of Boro, and I’d have fancied us to prevail on penalties.
