    Southgate's restored England to the game's top tier. We now not only expect to qualify for major tournaments - which certainly wasn't the case before - but expect to reach the semis at least.

    You've have thought The Liar's' exit would've been a line drawn, as Sunak suggested on the steps of Downing Street.

    However the entitled idea they're somehow above the rules and regulations applied to us plebs obviously persists.

    I genuinely don't understand how those still prepared to support them reconcile doing so...

    Southgate seems to think his side can sit back, pass amongst themselves, make little or no attempt to attack yet something will somehow turn up.

    Final seconds sum it up - chance to get it into the box but went backwards instead.

    This manager's progressed the national side to the highest levels. But he's now restricting it going further...

    AA anonymous. Bellingham not much better. Foden having to drop deep into our half just to get the ball. The whole lot playing at pedestrian pace whilst Denmark are simply pressing.
