The Spire and SpireWrites have both been used before, Blues news has been used by a number of other clubs before. My vote going for 1866 for something different

If we're going to be accurate shouldn't it be 'The 1866, 1867, 1919 or whatever damned date we want to say we were formed'? I know it doesn't trip off the tongue but........Posted Image

There are all pretty poor names, but can’t see why we still do a program, there’s ****** all in them, went in the lounges a few times and got them free, hardly owt worth reading in them and never even bothered taking one home!

Put all the articles online along with the adverts and save the cost of printing

The club is still doing a programme because people like myself and many others still collect them and enjoy them.

That in itself isn’t a good enough reason if they’re not at least breaking even cost-wise.

They could a free bar on every week and people would enjoy that too!

Back in the day, I used to look forward to reading the Crooked Spireite rather than the match day programme.

It was regularly better than the match never mind the programme (in the 90s Town had just about the worst programme of the 92).

Rest assured the revenue from advertising results in every programme making a profit.

Yes, I agree. Some of the names of the players we had made your eyes roll round in your head.

The club put out a message last week asking people to suggest new names for the program, so these are probably the best ones suggested by fans.
