At what point does Ashley Carson decide enough's enough?

He's Allen's man. Everything he's doing is on behalf of a bloke tending his pigeons whilst he gets the grief. He appointed Caldwell. He oversaw January's comings and goings. He's having to explain subsequent defeats. He's having to front-up this latest deceit. Sutcliffe's no longer around to deflect attention whilst Turner's been marginalised.

Dunno how a bloke supposedly doing the gig part time is being rewarded but you've gotta wonder if he'll be considering that own position...

As I've said earlier, one way out of this is for DA to clear him out and put somebody with integrity in. It seems a sensible option to me.

Da would just rent the ground out to the Wendy's and the blunts reserve teams, until such a time that he could get the caviat on the land changed and build on there also if there's no home team as such he has no overheads, most of the staff can be finished leaving just the corporate side which makes a profit anyway, so we need the club more than he does.

What if DA dismissed the bid out of hand because he realised they could blow him out of the water financially and he wants to somehow cling onto the corprate side of the business whilest selling off the football side

Just a thought that he thinks he might have more chance of achieving that with shall we say a more local takeover which he could state his case more easily

He realises that the swedish investors would have no need of him keeping the corprate side hence the no negotiating stance he has taken regardless of the sums mentioned

do not forget you can always tell a deedah but you cannot tell him owt :windup

August 2016:

CT: Dave someone's bid £800k straight cash for Bolly
DA: Tell them that's no where near what I value him at I want at least £1m

Jan 2017:

CT: Dave someone's bid £300k for Bolly
DA: Mmmm but that's less than 50% of my valuation...
CT: Dave you're delusional no one else has shown any interest due to your ridiculous over valuation!
DA: Damn ok let's sell..

AC: Dave someone's bid £10m for the club
DA: Tell them that's no where near what I value it at I want at least £15m

June 2017 (post relegation)

AC: Dave someone's bid £7m for the club
DA: Mmmmm but that's less than 50% of my valuation...
AC: Dave you're delusional no one else has shown any interest due to your ridiculous over valuation!
DA: Damn...

....anyone else see a similarity!!!

I know they do. A purchase off them by a select person or group of people could scupper plans.

As I said, your choice.

But don't you think it's immoral to tell others to protest, benefitting from their efforts if they're successful, yet contribute nothing yourself?

Didn't SS state that they no longer have any interest in purchasing the club with some members of the consortium moving on to new projects?
If only....

Less than what he's put in, circa £9m from memory, although not sure how much he's taken out

I've just joined that Facebook group which AC posts on and I am genuinely gobsmacked how many fickle fans we have, with their noses up AC's rusty ring piece. I'll be banned before the weekend.

He has overseen ongoing losses and done nowt about it, so yes DA should accept it's his fault and take a hit.

And that's why so many comments are pro AC etc, 'be good or be gone'.

Those who use Facebook ought to join the site and air their views about AC, signing each post off with summat like "if you don't hear from me again I have been banned for telling the truth"
