As much as I admire Wilson, he needs to retain his dignity - he will always be a legend - and if he were to consider his position.

Steve Evans
Mark Robins
Tony Mowbray
Nigel Adkins

From within: What we don't want is Mark Smith. Humphreys maybe.

I reckon Evans may look at the post. I don't care what he looks like or what he says.

If Wilson did leave, why would any of them want to work in the current environment?

The only realistic option is a young unknown manager looking to make a name for themselves and willing to work with no room to play in the transfer market

DA needs to dig deep and poach Keith hill. Look at the cheap spanners he's assembled and yet still plays some quality football alongside the decent results in front of toilet sized crowds every week. Fits our remit perfectly.

We should have appointed Gary Alexander when he was available 18 months ago but our wonderful board decided to appoint Saunders instead and that decision is still hanging over the club in a big way!!

If Danny walks they'll just let the charm offensive that is Morgan carry on the good work. We're screwed.

DW got two and half years on the contract? IF so, they're not going to sack him.

Some managers are just a perfect fit at some clubs aka hill at dale didn't fit aswell at barnsley, goes back t dale ....success....

Contraversial i know....we wait even till the end of the season and bring back paul cook, cos pompey are gunna sack him when they don't go up this season.......guaranteed.

But cook would want the budget to get us to the Championship. They wouldn't sanction signing Gary Taylor-Fletcher!

Plus he left under a cloud and controversy.

I'd have him back. Many wouldn't

As far as I'm aware we've never been told if Danny has got a contract never mind the length, although I understand he has got one. Not that im advocating him leaving given the financial constraints he's having to work under and certainly the last person I'd want here would be the convicted fraudster Steve Evans.

Steve Evans replacing Danny Wilson would be like the Dark Side finally taking over at Town and eliminating the last of the Jedi.

It would that. Good job we haven't the funds to build a fully operational space station.
