We could have Harry Kane up there, it wouldn’t matter. The type of football we are currently playing makes Grigg look poor. We’ve got to make chances for him.

Nail on head. This type of football would stop Haaland, Kane and Mbappe scoring.

With the service he’s had, what do you expect?
The poor touch earlier when potentially clean through is all I can fault him for.
He has absolutely no service from the wide players whatsoever.
As said above, Haaland wouldn’t score for us.

People can’t wait to see Grigg fail. From the moment he signed.

One poor touch in the game so far.

Other than that hasn’t been given a kick

I expected Grigg’s movement and guile to be top notch but it is not. Too often not in place when the ball is played into dangerous positions up top.
These go to eleven.

Spot on. A cross just (84 mins) came in for him at the front post; where was he, wedged between the two centre backs.... happening and happened way too many times, this match and previous matches.

And,vas bonny has already said; he doesn't drop deeper for it, he's static in the middle.

I’d love him to succeed. Criticising someone’s efforts is not the same thing as wanting them to fail.

Just another contract for his mates. Nearly all the players cook has signed this summer he has had them at other clubs. Looking at his stats Grigg has never been a 20 goal a season sticker yet were expecting him to be one this season. He's no better than Quigley just on a bigger contract which is why he came here.

Grigg’s miss was obviously a howler but to go against the grain, 2nd half he was excellent bar his one big chance. He held the ball up well, came deep and linked play. It’s so odd ‘supporters’ seemingly revelling in him not scoring.
