I watched the first episode of Vegas but couldnt get into it. I like Michael Chiklis (The Shield is the best) but it just bored me to death.

Game of Thrones has been spoiled by me reading the books but is still compelling viewing. Revolution has been Sky plussed.

Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire are on my phablet for watching on the way to work and back.

Saw the first series of Falling Skies and quite liked that despite the gash ending of season 1.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Breaking Bad is brilliant TV - I think it is back on in the US 14/07 (not many sleeps to go now).

For some comedy viewing, Parks and Recreation is worth a look...pretty much The Office with different faces, but if you like The Office you should be a fan.

Probably between Breaking Bad and The Wire for the best in my opinion...BB probably just nicking it, although it's less realistic than The Wire. Well, I imagine that to be the case, not that I'm personally familiar with the environment depicted in either show.

I absolutely loved The Wire and would definitely recommend it, but have to admit the last season was a bit ridiculous though! Definitely the best thing i've seen in recent years.

I thought Homeland was excellent although some of the characters in S2 were very annoying (e.g. Brody's daughter). Will definitely watch S3.

Trying to watch Boardwalk Empire currently!
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

Pretty good and I can see why people rave about it - but, it was ruined - to an extent - for me by Kelly McDonald's character. Maybe it's just me but I found her character/acting irritating, whereas everyone else was pretty much flawless.

I don't watch much tv to be honest, I do like Game of Thrones but having recently got rid of Sky I have to acquire it by other means. I recently watched two series which I enjoyed Toy Hunter and Hollywood Treasures. Other than that it's usually sport or whatever the kids are watching. I did watch Foyles War with the missus the other day which I enjoyed. Once the kids are in bed i'm usually off in the other room for some Call of Duty on my ps3

At the moment for me it is the following:

Hawaii Five-0
Elementary
Persons of Interest
Grimm
Anger Management
Bones

Watched first couple of seasons of Blue Bloods but then got really bored of it.

Cant wait for Sherlock to come back.

Tried Breaking Bad but just couldnt get into it.

Watched Bates Motel the other day and that looks promising. Looking forward to Hannibal.

Plus many others.

Is it just me or is this Revolution show going the exact same way as Flash forward?

A Blackout
Mysterious baddy
Back and forth scenes
Decent premise let down by contrived plot.
Terrible unsatisfactory ending to come?

I'm part way through the Sopranos box set. I think my last one was months ago, will get back into it when I remember where I was. I intend watching The Wire after that.

Timbo,

I've got The Wire boxset if you want to borrow it (maybe a crossover loan whilst i borrow the sopranos?)

The Sopranos has to still be one of the best ever. One episode could make me laugh , cry and make my blood curdle ! The character were all well drawn too - how they could make you understand and remain interested in Tony was just brilliant.

Oof Marone, this thing of ours, forget about it. Loved the Sopranos, like NCIS a lot.

Why have we started to refer to a TV series as seasons. I heard it on tele earlier.

Are we becoming Americans?
