It's worth a thought. It would be even handier for him.Legendary player, but I doubt they'll give him another chance. But what if?

Richard??? What are you saying! He loves it at our place.... doesn't he? He will see out his contract here, unless he doesn't have the choice. He's that kind of man.

No he probably wouldn`t be able to resist it, and who could blame him, but lets be honest I would have thought Roy being in line for the Derby job is a non starter.
There is a ready made choice though....
One of the "wags" on this message board is a BOSS, think he mentioned it once, although I forget who..Maybe he could apply.

Think Derby have been there and done that with Macca... also Roy will see out his two years here and pack in i think. Derby will probably want someone with more "long term" ambition...

I think Roy's the BEST manager i've seen at the club in my 20 years + as an avid fan - But if he were to leave I would wish him all the best. I know though that many supporters don't think like this with a lot of the comments on these boards but people are always quicker to grumble/moan than give praise not just in football but life.

Loyalty - does it have a price ? It does have for players managers and fans!
Who's the more foolish - the fool or the fool who follows?

'Big' club Derby will be looking way above Roy Mc. Not saying they are necessarily right but it's a fact. If he were offered it of course he would have to go and hopefully with the best wishes of all CFC fans.

Our huge neighbours are desperate to lure Billy Davies from Preston. Personally couldn't care less. Billy Smart might be more appropriate...
