Cook says there was plenty of loan interest in his squad yesterday but that he wasn't willing to lose any of his players.

Makes sense. If our playoff push becomes unrealistic then the young un's need putting straight in. Raglan, Mani, Michael.... By Tuesday night we should have a fair idea.

Probably none so far, as such.
An opinion I share though looking at it longer term. A full rigorous pre season will do BH the world of good, and he'll come back bulked up and doing the business.
IMO of course.

Think Barrie Hubbard's bulked up enough, don't you? And why would he come back here?

I agree that Harrison may well come good in time. We've had very little to go on, but he has the physique and technical skills to be a decent cf, and his positional awareness seems quite good. He just needs to sharpen up, speed up his reactions, and add a bit of aggression to his game. I felt the same about Lavery, and we had just got him up to speed when we lost him. Let's hope our fitness/coaching staff can do the same job with Harrison.

The problem with that idea is that if we find that our results go against us then we could find ourselves looking over our shoulders again. There are a lot of teams between us and the bottom four but there still isn't a lot of points difference yet. Not enough to be complacent about anyway.
It would be nice to be able to "blood" the future of our team though.

Agreed, but it's not just physical. He's got to realise how good he could be and play with some brashness and confidence, like Davies did.

Absolutely - whenever he's played his body language has said 'I don't think I should really be here' . Hopefully that will change as he gains fitness and sharpness.

Not bulked up in the Akinfenwa sense, just toughened up a bit to what life's like in L1, and a bit of aggression to his game.I'd had a few last night, so please excuse my technical inaccuracy.
