Would be great but can't believe how tight the table is. If we had 11 more points we would still only be fifth. If Crawley (bottom) had 11 more points they would be in our current position!

I feel like I need motivation for this. Hope the players aren't feeling this way.

4 of the next 5 games are at home, undefeated in that spell with maybe 3 or more wins would really establish us as genuine play-off contenders.
The fun of the fa cup is over..now let's the serious stuff start.
East stand second class citizen.

I think the players will want to banish the disappointment of Derby and what better way by winning big tonight and moving into the play-offs. I don't think PC needs to beat his chest to get the players up for this one.

Shouldn't do, no. I think I'm just tired. This no drinking seems to have done me no good whatsoever.

First game after a big game always seems poor-mental and physical tiredness.
Remember the games at Colchester (after Anfield) where we got tanked (the Sun even sponsored it and brought the matchball onto pitch via helicopter)! Brentford after semi - a very poor goalless draw(?)

How did we do after the Wembley games-anyone remember?

Got humped at Sheffield United but that was only two days later and we expected to lose anyway.

My memory tells me that only two or three started at Brentford that played at Old Trafford.

Think that 3-1 at swindon left its mark on us ,and to me it showed at derby, still its up to the lads to pick themselves up tonight and try for 3 points,we know we are good enough.

I still think it will go down to the last match at the Blunts........both of us chasing that last play-off position. 5th and 6th positions are anyone's! Even 4th could be up for grabs if Preston slip up a wee bit.

I sincerly hope we are not flat after facing a championship side else we really would struggle in a league above, anything less than 3 points will tell us everything about where we are as a club.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

I heard they only receive Bonuses when they are in the Top 7 so hopefully they will have their own incentive tonight...

3 points separate Rochdale in 5th place, and Oldham Athletic in 14th.

A new hope.
