Tragic, truly tragic.

But not as tragic as the cranks and loons and tory MP's and even 'BB' contributors who think he's a hero...

Also ironic that he says he was “raided” terminology designed arouse anger among his supporters - so they want to release the terms of the search warrant - but that would need trumps agreement.

Will he agree to prove himself “innocent” and the victim of a “witch hunt” or will he not agree because he doesn’t want people to see what the FBI have been looking for and taking away?
A new hope.

Can't help noticing parallels between 'witch hunt/stich up/infamy, infamy, they've all got it in f' me' rhetoric defending corrupt cultists on both sides the Atlantic...

I wouldn’t rule out him running again next time, and if so I wouldn’t rule out a second term for him. Biden seems to have been a disaster.

Americans are crazy enough to vote for him again…

Dunno about Biden, he seems to be a level headed sensible sort of bloke to me…probably why many yanks think he’s a disaster.

Disastrous Joe Biden.

The list really is endless, couple that with his obvious health issues and you can see why Americans seemingly aren’t as enamoured with Biden as some on this side of the pond would like to believe.

You will note that most of those reports have come from a republican bias so have to be taken with a whole bucket of salt not just a pinch.

Likewise any media source is from a certain political leaning. Once again it’s the case of..”I don’t agree with the reports, so I’ll criticise the source” , it’s no issue we all do it, I just admit it.

If Americans votes for Trump or the republicans then America will be an authoritarian state in 6 years time and democracy will be gone.

But how do you expect any kinda balance from the sources quoted? From supporters of a republican party even now denying realities we can all see and hear?

My take is things've got back to some sorta normality. The yank president no longer peddling lies and hypocrisy on a daily, maybe even hourly basis. No longer costing countless lives with Covid denial. No longer suggesting injecting bleach. No longer snubbing allies. No longer threatening to withdraw from NATO. No longer trashing treaties. No longer buddying up to Putin. No longer posting racist tropes. No longer prioritising the NRA over kids' lives. No longer riding roughshod over decency and democracy. No longer denying the election result and leading an attempted coup. No longer being subject to a succession of investigations only his own similarly corrupt party save him from.

No longer hoarding top secret documents at his own place.

So Biden makes mistakes. He's old. He's a democrat. Hardly enough for the same people dubbing Sturgeon and Drakeford 'despots' to label him a 'disaster'...

The criticism is hardly going to come from Biden supporters now is it? So once again it’s a view you don’t, or won’t subscribe to, so you decry the source.

To be fair Mark, if you take away the shambolic withdrawal from Afghanistan, the rest of the “points” made are just noise….”clean up his mess” ….”he’s been a disaster” “violence in democrat cities” - in a country where gun violence is the highest in the world…in all US cities.

To counter all of that I’d say he’s handled the Ukraine situation as well as any other world leader, probably better than most - huge logistical and financial support while being careful to maintain a position that doesn’t provoke a wider war.

He’s managed to get a package through the house to address climate change - a hugely significant step in a country like America.

He’s introduced the toughest gun controls, by the way of background checks in U.S history - another significant step

It’s probably the climate bill and gun purchase background checks being introduced that the republican press refer to when saying “clean up his mess”
A new hope.

Think you're confusing opinion with facts, pal.

The OPINION of those right wing sources you referenced is anti Biden. Well yeah, of course it is. In the same way right wing outlets are anti Labour, unions, strikes, and anything else that might challenge the rich getting richer.

But my extremely limited list of Trump's corruption - I din't even mention the collection of associates now found guilty of one crime or another - are facts. All too well documented facts.

So please, in the interest of balance, can you go through his ongoing 'disasters' and offer anything even approaching as despicable on Biden's part?
