Looks like Weston will be out Tuesday with another Achilles injury talk about rotten luck.

Mccourt still not ready for a return

Be interested to see the team he puts out against Halifax.

So that’s 3 Achilles injuries in two weeks now? Cant be a coincidence can it?
A new hope.

CPS, we’ve had 2 Achilles injuries in as many weeks, is it just coincidence or is there something that they might be doing in trading that puts extra strain on this part of the body?

Hard too say but it’s very rare to have a ruptured Achilles in footballl -let alone 2.

Usually from increase in workload.

There’s been studies recently indicating occurrence of AT injuries have been due to too many home type workouts then trying to run after (studies into basketball and football). Make sense- silly zoom type sessions and no external running/jumping then into full training.

Obviously don’t know what the S&C guys has be been doing at Town.

Certainly bad news for the players though and an Achilles rupture always leaves it weaker and a recipe for further complications :-((

Wow. You wouldn’t want some of you lot in the trenches with you!

Rowe has gone from being a breath of fresh air, a God-send for the club to a bloke whose team selection is awful and spouts off the same old football cliches, churning out football as bad as the darkest few years in our clubs history.

All in the space of a couple of weeks. After being unbeaten in, what was it, 6 or 7 games? Hardly conceding a goal.

Folk need to get a serious grip and stop jumping from camp to camp depending on the weather.

Will need to sign a decent striker in the summer as Asante not back until new year

Rowe will have him tracking back into midfield and providing defensive cover even if we replace Asante

There is no jumping camp , certainly not from me. But we can see the good work done for promotion slipping away due to injury. We were all hoping to go up this season but now it looks unlikely. Just a reality check. JR has done a brilliant job and we would all be happy with a mid table position last year.

I did wonder how it went from a knee injury when he limped off to an achilles rupture!

For a number of seasons I’ve assumed we will concede from opponents’ corners but that we will never score from our own. I’m now confident we can defend them but still don’t believe we offer much threat from our own. Is it just me or are our corners too predictable and easy to defend?

The reporter said Rowe got mixed up initially and changed it later on. Probably got confused because Weston has picked up an Achilles injury

How long is Asante likely to be out for?
These go to eleven.

Rowe says 9 months, CPS says 12, Internet says 6 to 9 months, possibly longer depending on the damage and quality of treatment, but there is scant evidence of the 6 month synopsis

It is a bit early to right him off. He didn’t seem in too much distress but he did point to the back of heel immediately. It might just be a minor strain but will he need surgery or rest - how long will he be out - how long is a piece of string?
