Blathers Match - I'm Looking Forward to it. Testimonial Games at Saltergate?

Blather's match tomorrow got me thinking, how many testimonials have we seen at Saltergate?

I remember:-

JD's against Man U

Kev Randall's against Sheff U

Did Jamie Hewitt get on?

Either my memory's going or the fact that I can only remember 2, possibly 3 testimonial games over a period of 22 years says all it needs to about Blathers.

Get yourselves to Saltergate and give the big man the send off he deserves.

Lee Rogers v Forest, 7000 turned up.

Ernie Moss v Sheffield Wednesday. Brian Ferguson won't forget the game in a hurry.

Not sure of the year, Tony Lormor turned out for us and scored, think we won 4-1.

I think Morris's testimonial was the year after and we played Forest again, not as many turned up.....

One of the first ever games my Dad ever took me to see at Saltergate was a Testimonial. I can't remember who it was though.

Steven met with Ricco yesterday and he promised him that Chesterfield would field a full first team including the new signings.

Its damp here but not raining, yet, don't know what Horns Bridge roundabout is like, but i wouldn't imagine any problems,i would suggest tuning into Peak 107FM,they will tell of any problems,i cannot see any problems the match should be ok but by all means give the club a phone call.
