The SW stadium interview with Walters makes it appear that the investor/s could be one of a few parties the club has been speaking to, and the new arrangement could be a takeover OR new investors joining the board. This seems to fly against the widely held belief that Dave Allen was taking over.

I think more than a rumour. It was reported by Radio Sheffield and cropped up (in passing) in an interview with Allen in the Sheffield Star if memory serves. Walters gives the impression he doesn't know what the new arrangement will be. Canny lad?

???[size=4]

I thought they simply weren't telling yet - or rather not confirming yet that Dave Allen would be taking over. Maybe the goal posts have moved.

In fairness to Alan, he and the rest of the Board will be bound by a confidentiality agreement at this advanced stage.

The final guy in the clip, isn't that David Merified who sold the Blakes Group last year to Bristol Street Motors for £4.9M?........

It is and I would wager he was there in the capacity as chairman of the Derbyshire Chamber rather than prospective investor. His new business being opposite the centre might have something to do with it aswell.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!
