often wondered this and it really bugs me,you wouldnt get everton playing in red,its the complete opposite in footballing terms, any colour but not red,i actually think man u had a blue away kit once and it was a disaster, why not try an all white strip,i hate the red kit and it b uggers up half the songs
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

It's never even been on sale has it? So if those who like it wanted to buy it, the attitude is, tough s**t

not me personally, looks a bit too much like Rotherham for my liking but it would be nice to have a choice

If we had a yellow and blue one that would be the opposite colours, the colours of the enemy, for me red is just another colour.

The kit washer may not be too happy with us wearing all white.

It's probably the big teams, like SB's favourite, that is the reason why most clubs have 3 kits thesedays, the main reason the 3rd kit was brought in was probably so clubs can get their fans to part with more money.

It seems to be lucky, our away form is better then home form. According to a new scientist article red is the colour of victory.

Thought the Anglo-Scottish Cup was our only non-domestic triumph?

Better dead than red!

Used to like the old yellow coalite strips, and the gordon lamb one (with the spire outlined in green), but thinking about it i really should've hated the idea of us playing in a colour akin to our scabby neighbours?? Really liked the burgundy outfit the other year, and going back further the green/white stripey affair looked ok too.

I've heard that before, look at the successful teams in the premeiership, Man U, Liverpool (ok not recently), Arsenal. Obviously this theory isn't 100% true, see Rotherham & Scarborough for more details.
