Have just cancelled our digs for London (was doing the England game on the Friday, Woking on the Saturday and Cray Wanderers v Bognor Regis Town on the Sunday). Have also got digs booked for two nights for the trip to Barrow (hoping to watch Workington play on the Saturday as well as our game on the Monday), two nights in Dundee (Apr 24/25th) for the Dundee Derby and two other games, a trip to Vienna and Bologna at the end of May/start of June for Austria v England and Italy v Czech Republic games, and tickets etc. for all England's games at the Euros. So am waiting on further news/updates before possibly cancelling some/all of those! Luckily have got free cancellation on all the digs, and assume the flights to Vienna/Bologna may be cancellable given the circumstances.

As for this weekend; we'd already binned off the Dover trip (fully refundable) and are planning to watch Swanwick PR v Clay Cross Town then head to Kinsley dog races - unless those get cancelled too.

You do know Cray ground share with Bromley don't you? Just saying, in case you thought it was a new ground. (presuming that you have seen Town play at Bromley). Oddly enough I went to the wonderfully named Cray Valley Paper Mills v Ramsgate last Saturday and past the site of Cray Wanderers new ground just off the A20.

So, the NL decides to go ahead with this weekend’s fixtures.

Yet Solihull v Harrogate is postponed tonight as 4 of the Harrogate staff are in isolation for the virus...we played them last week. Shocking decision in my opinion by the league.

As previously stated they are contractually due holidays and about 11 will be out of contract on 30/06/20 which isn't throughout the summer. I agree the Arteta and Hudson-Odoi diagnosis is behind the decision. What other industry has shut down completely because a handful of employees have been affected. The players will be just as much at risk as anyone else going forward

They have there holidays in March/April and the end of June is the summer (although not throughout admittedly - semantics don’t you just love it)

As I said, at the lower levels the season could easily run throughout June, meaning end of April will probably be the cutoff.

Got to laugh at Staveley's league. Mickey Mouse decision. More people in the local supermarket FFS!

Yea did know, but as a mate from Canada was due to fly over for the weekend we planned to take in that game also (plus it would double tick that ground for my anorak tendencies!). He's managed to get his flights etc. cancelled now, so none of us are out of pocket. If the Woking game is still on then I'll still go to that (never chalked off their ground). When are Cray Wanderers expected to move in their new ground?

so can we infer that the staff at Harrogate who are in isolation dont really think they have it and its only a precaution, or are they staff not involved on a matchday? If latter then it is still possible that players were in contact and will have passed it on to our players....

I wont be making the trip to dover even though only a couple of hours away as I went last season, and frankly after a week of dealing with the B****Y virus and impact on business I cba.....

For the start of next season so I believe. Hope so, as the team I follow down here (Lewes) are in the same league.

And the significant loss of revenue, assuming the worst, will be borne by who?
Interesting situation. DA to make good any shortfall, as usual, then being reimbursed if and when the fixtures are played seems one possibility, but not easily sorted.
We could be seeing a lot of clubs folding, along with dependant businesses. We could be one of them, but no clubs below the Championnship can breathing easily,

Agree with Moondog, this suspension has come too soon & should be coming in around the beginning of April not ending. Having said that, I see no possibility for the resumption of the season. Positions as they stand should count in my view rather than making the season null & void.

They should make the season void and then Liverpool won’t win the title😂😂

Liverpool’s season has been ruined in the last few weeks; first Watford, then Chelsea followed by Atlético and now Covid-19 has applied the finishing touches!

We have worry about our own club

Worrying about them doesn't do much good - I've been doing it for years.

Anyway, our Ashley's made a statement on behalf of the club criticising the NL for continuing with fixtures. On this very rare occasion I agree with what he's saying and his motives for doing so.

I might be out on a limb here but if we stop two or three thousand going to a game what are we going to do instead ?

Shall we go to the pub, shops, garden centre where there will be absolutely no contact with the outside world ....?

Their heath service hasn’t collapsed yet

Figures also indicate that the average age of people needing serious medical intervention is 60
