A gift is just that, a loan isn’t likely to be repaid given the financial state of the club. With shares at least you have something tangible to show for it as well as the club still being alive. Just my opinion of course.

Well according to Rob the asking price takes into account paying up the ex-directors loans, so if you do it right?
Meanwhile I’m expecting a big payout for my 500 hundred shares, when the oil magnet takes over

Yep, I’m sure when Roman Abramovic realises he owns the wrong CFC we will both be very wealthy men

But this is the height of 'Blind Faith' at present. Have the consortium got the funds to buy the club, or is this money to fund a war chest? Are their pockets deep enough to sustain the club? Who are the consortium?
I don't doubt the sincerity... but handing the club to people who are unable to sustain it may be worse than the current shitshow.

However, to feel comfortable gifting a larger amount of money I believe more information from the prospective new owners would be needed.
Questions such as....
How much money is needed to be raised ?
We are currently told that DA is funding the club to the tune of approx £200k per month, does this includes payments to A&S leisure? If so, how much per month can be saved from the club per month when a takeover happens?
With existing contracts from players / management, IF / WHEN could the club be in a position to balance the books - income = outgoings? Having a wage bill to match our income!
Asking fans to make donations of £200 or £500 in blind faith is one thing, £5k+ with just the account details is an unrealistic to me.

Folks donated much more to save the club before, there are people able and willing to contribute different amounts currently. A meeting will no doubt give the financial obligation going forward.

Rob has promised us sight of a Business Plan, so all we can do at this stage is wish him well and thank him for his efforts.
PLEASE, PLEASE let Carson's absence on Boxing Day be linked to this announcement.

Maybe not an instant impact but having a team of supporters who the rest of us know have the club's best interests at heart will hopefully bring back enough revenue streams to give the club time to at least tread water until we get to a stage when we can then build upon what we have.
No disrespect meant here but we don't have time for negativity. Rob is trying to save the club and needs everybody who is in a position to help to do just that. Crowds coming back if/when we are rid of Allen, Carson & co will obviously be a big boost regardless of who the manager is aswell (I appreciate that you haven't mentioned this bit, but others have).
