And you really think he's happy to waste another of his prime years sat on the bench?

Why not? He was happy last season to play the second keeper role

Nathan Abbey made a career of being the No2 goalie

I?d love to see him here, a star of the future but being as he?s recently signed a new deal at Goodson and is an Everton fan I?d be both surprised and shocked in equal measure!
But we live in hope!

He?s spent the last two years playing regular first team football, he?ll be reluctant to go back to sitting around playing reserve football at Everton or gamble on another loan where it may not go as well. I?d be surprised if a permanent deal happened unless it helps them with FFP a little bit. I could see another loan happening though.

777 Partners proposed take over of Everton as fallen through. Possibly makes the sale of Pickford more likely.

Isn't one of the owners of Palace looking to sell his stake there and come in for Everton?

Maybe so but these things don?t happen over night and they probably have to start from scratch with negotiations, certainly wouldn?t be concluded to prevent a Pickford sale this summer, would it?

Why not, money off the wage bill. - you don?t get if you don?t ask. But if they?ve made him an offer surely that would be more than us.
God I hate this league.

Every single Everton is up for sale due to the state of their finances at the moment and FFP still looming large if they don?t sell

Does the wages of players not registered to play in the first team who are part of the academy/youth/u21 etc come out of a different pot or are they covered by Financial fair play rules?
I was under the impression they were covered by a seperate budget, but may be wrong.

A deal for Harry Tyrer, where there's a fee and a favourable buy back clause for Everton would be a win win all round. He's not going to make much of a transfer fee in the big world of the premier League but a chunk of money and someone off the wage bill may help save one of the star players if they do likewise with one or two others. Have they got any decent right backs going cheap, while we're at it 🤔.
