It was very cold last week against Gateshead and there were still 7000 in the ground.

It was about 6 degrees last week and not actually that bad, different story tomorrow

7000 tickets sold not people in the ground.

Greater chance of more injuries with frozen rock hard pitch.
Might be blessing if this postponed. Also Conn Clarke could be sold. Marginal gains.

Why do you talk so much rubbish

Haven’t you got someone to find that you don’t hate / doesn’t reciprocate?

It’s obvious there will be more injuries on a soft, forgiving surface, example, mud in the eye

Could be worse….buffalo bills host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a wild card playoff game tonight in the American Football. Was meant to be Saturday but delayed due to it being so cold and snowing so much there was a risk to life warning. Now a toasty -8c and fans having to wade through knee high snow to get to their seats!

I would assume conective tissue injuries would be more prevalent on soft pitches but impact ones on frozen hard pitches

I think a lot of it would depend how match fit players are.

Our pitch doesn’t freeze in most cases it’s the car parks and general footpath conditions that are the reason games are pulled.
God I hate this league.

Much snow over there? We have had a fair dumping of it overnight in the North West. Dog is not keen on her walk!
