Is it running on the Robin Hood line - you know, the one that allows travel from the north to the south of the U.K. or, should I say, from Worksop to Nottingham?

It smells badly of p..155 as well.

You laugh now but I'm right and what's more i know I'm right.

There is no way Steve Evans would join us without being given the go ahead to sign who he wants. He's already brought 4 new players straight into the team with another 2 joining imminently.

If we played you this weekend you'd be destroyed. And If things stay the same over there as they are right now then Heaven help you next season when our gaffer has had the time to get all of his targets in to the club.

Listen I take no pleasure in this but the sooner you face the truth the easier it will be later. MTFC on the way up to the Championship. Chesterfield ruined going to the Conference.

I know it's going to be hard for you and it's not your fault but you're just going to have to accept it.

Not so Westbars its not like that. It's not fair that you've been taken over by a dodgy businessman from Sheffield who doesn't even support CFC. Honestly I reckon I like Chesterfield FC more than he does.

And then there's us with a chairman who is happy to put millions of his money into MTFC and has just secured the services of Steve Evans who is a top top manager.
You have no money, huge debts , no signings, and Richie Humphries.

Re the title of the thread, there's one manager we don't want thankfully you've got him

Well Clare our gaffers last team managed was Leeds United Football Club. He also has multiple promotions on his CV from his time at Boston, Crawley, and Rotherham United.

He's also being heavily backed by our Chairman.

How about yours?

I know who I'd rather have. And so do you.

It's over, your club has been wrecked.

He also has some other things on his CV you fail to mention, as well a peculiar penchant for wearing eyeliner.

He's a proper manager though Westbars. A motivator with promotions a regularity. I've never seen a manager get quite so animated during a game. We're used to seeing forlorn looking figures stood with crossed arms if they can be bothered to stand at all.

Does this ring any bells

Paul Cox wasn't really like that to be fair to him. Though his brand of football wasn't for the purist he could grind a result out. I'd rather have him than Humphries if I'm honest, I think that is saying something really.

It's nothing short of tragic. You lot must be going spare.

You will be his first failure, and his heart might explode, metaphorically speaking of course, and he'll still stink of sweat and p...155

Promotions when he can outspend the completion almost without exception I believe. It doesn't make him a bad manager of course but neither does it make it worth blindly overlooking his huge drawbacks.

If things improve for you (top half?) and 3500 home fans remains a distant dream how long does the call-girl tamer keep it going?

I think if they ever got top three under him both Evans and Wooly would 54it themselves uncontrollably with excitement.

good god there are some horrors on those bookies lists, it's almost like a who's who of people i never want managing the team - ince, curle, jones, moore, adkins, jackett, mowbray, carver even B****Y Saunders again.

I don't find the list very inspiring to be honest, cowley is quite interesting, and i always liked chris powell and les Ferdinand. the oddschecker site seems to suggest that mark cooper is a popular bet.

Hmmmmmm Curle is an interesting one....lives on Ecclesall Road!!!!

Nah Merc that's just wishful thinking on your part. I won't hold it against you tho we all need some hope to cling to

But ultimately it's the hope that kills you.

Time is against us this year but the overhaul is in progress and the recent results are very encouraging. Expect a serious challenge for the play offs this season but if we fall short then hey that's fine cos well have our local derby next year.

From your point of view I think it would be better if we went up this season and you got relegated because you're going to get humiliated if we're in the same league. I can honestly see you getting relegated again next year.

If you do become better supported than us , if you do become a bigger club than us and if you do finish higher than us for the first time in 25(?) years then I'll take all the stick you give gracefully but right now you are shooting your load very very prematurely. The desperation you have to be better than us is cute but right now it's all fantasy. The only thing you have right now is a lucky 1-0 win over us in the same same season we won the league. Bless.

That's one way of looking at it Bluekent

Another is who has the better chairman? Actually have you even got a chairman or did he quit?
Who has the better manager, has Richie Humphries actually ever managed before?
Who has made the better signings in this transfer window- have you even signed anyone?
Who has massive debts?
Who's looking nailed on for relegation?

You see it's not what has happened in the past it's what's happening now that matters.
