No but it doesn't, but as this was said over 3 weeks ago if he was going to sign for them shouldn't he have done so by now?

Why the hell would Juan Ugarte want to come to us? He has already said he want to prove himself at Championship level!

To be honest, bearing in mind the reasons why he came to this country in the first place, I can't see him moving from Wrexham unless he absolutely has to. If he does, I shouldn't think that he'd want to move to far from the north west.

Having said all of that, I would LOVE it if he did sign for us. All sounds like a load of bunk to me though.

I think some town fan went on wrexham rivals and started this pathetic rumour and some people have obviously believed it, i bet roys not even spoke to ugarte or his agent and if he were to leave wrexham then im sure there are about 20 clubs he'd go to before he came here.

I've only just picked up on this thread, and I don't wish to be abusive, BUT that has to be one of the most unbelievable comments I've heard in ages Dan. How on earth can anybody 'not rate Ugarte' when you look at his goalscoring record? He personally thrashed us 4-2 at Saltergate and scored 2 or 3 hat tricks plus other goals. There seems to be no truth in the rumours linking him with us, but I wish there was some truth in them.

Ok, that may have come out wrong. Obviously he has a great scoring record but at the time of seeing him, apart from his goals i dont think he he looked anything above the standard in this league but yes he gets himself in the goals so he must be doing something right.

Yep, I have to say that I found that comment most amusing. This man scored 4 (FOUR) times in one game against us. FOUR!!!! Thats half the number that our top scorer managed in a whole season. Just to prove that it wasn't a fluke, he then proceeded to repeat the feat and score a couple of hat-tricks. What the sweaty hell does a striker have to do to impress some folk?!
