....this could win you a Nobel prize. No one has ever won one for Mathematics. Is this why PC didn't send Evatt up for the last 10 minutes against MK Dons?.

Doyle is pretty much the only bloke for us that's scored, but yet 99% want to replace him and for what we can probably afford it'd probably change nothing, apart from a little more squad depth.
Doyle has 3 goals from 3 games
Boco has 1 goal from 3 games
and to top that none of these players are gaining any assists!
So from that I'd say it's easy to see where we are struggling, despite all the fantastic football and it's easy to blame the striker, when in reality he's the only one doing anything (where it counts).

Im actually not looking at individuals and how they are playing but concentrating more on playing players with the biggest goals to games ratio....incidently clucas would come in under the 1 in 5 ratio so would be deemed a good signing.

It's folly to neglect the defensive qualities of any of the middle 3. Play Nozzer in there and you'd have the goals ratio, but you would lose matches.

You are correct but i dont think we have that problem as doyle works his cobblers off thats why the 20 goal striker is probably a fantasy ,nearly impossible to find somebody who works hard and scores a lot ,for what its worth i think we may have dodged a bullet in higdon after watching him as he looks like he hasnt got a big shift in him....a player i would be interested in that fits the bill is kwesi appiah at cambridge who is on loan from palace.
