I don't think anybody has any idea, but...I believe the NL in their initial statement last week said all clubs must fulfill the Saturday, just gone, and the Tuesday, tonight's fixtures regardless, so a decision might be expected before the weekend!

Cheers Moondog - interesting info.
I had initially assumed that because the NL N/S had been paused for 2 weeks - they'd be using the full 2 weeks to lobby with the Government.

Didn't vote for them and what I think of their competence is irrelevant. I spend half my life trying to convince colleagues to do stuff they arent doing and probably don't want to and something I found out a long time ago was that insulting their competence was a lot more likely to result in them telling me to do one and changes not happening.
I guess it depends, do you want the change or do you want to score points? My job is to get change, I guess Toby's is to score points....
ETA @BobbyDarling, do you believe the NL Board have been competent? Without the facts of the meeting that agreed the £10m start of season funding we have no idea who has been incompetent or made assumptions....

But when he argues the Club's case he's accused of politicising?
The politicising is referring to the govts incompetence, not the letter. I referred to one line, not the whole letter or the concept of the letter....
It is possible that doing nothing is wrong but the something you do is also not ideal... just saying.

I think Perkins wants to deliver change. I don’t think he was points scoring. I’ve always found that addressing incompetence is fundamental to bringing about change at work.
I do think that the NL Board is open to criticism which has surprised me cos long ago I knew Brian Barwick and he was an impressive performer. I’m hopeful that now Gary Neville is on the game there will be a Government U turn. A couple of well aimed tweets normally prompt Johnson to make a Greek quote and splash the cash.

It's hard to see how a vote in our league to carry on would work for the smaller clubs that don't want to take on the liability as surely this can't be imposed on them.
One hope is the clubs that vote to carry on will be allowed to do so in a smaller version of the league for the two promotion spots.

I guess that would be strike the points with the teams that want to finish the season if there are just a few or play a new competition if a load don’t wanted to continue.
Not sure we’d want the former as we’ve lost to most bigger/better teams.
It’ll provide a bit of entertainment trying to work out who would want to continue. I suppose it depends in the main on what clubs can stop paying their players contracts

The key is in what is meant by "available"
As for our league , case by case is good in theory i.e. to Borehamwood "you've already been given enough to manage the season"and for us "your income loss has not been covered, here's some more to cover it " but can it all be done in time and what will happen to the league if only a few are eligible.

Potentially some progress made there, but still loans for step 1&2 unless you make a case for a Grant.
The whole thing is so last minute and I have the feeling its being sorted on the back of a fag packet somewhere. No control, no direction, no clear steer from anywhere. Rank bad management from the NL board and the DCMS.
