Hi All
I've put my collection of town shirts on Facebook for those that are interested (i know theres a few on here). Any help with filling the gaps would be good...mainly 80's shirts, the 3rd red from 10/11 and the illusive semi final shirt.

The page is called "spireite shirts"

Great to see a different kind of collection of Chesterfield memorabilia, my focus is programmes, teamsheets and tickets and trying hard not to add other things to my collection but I appear to be inadvertently gathering some shirts. I don’t do Facebook so can’t view your collection unfortunately.
Just for interest I have just acquired a club tie that has the club crest in 1980

Blimey, thats one hell of a collection. Still think the green and white stripped is the best away shirt we have ever had.

Yeah i'd agree with that...although the yellow Gordon Lamb shirt runs it close for me.

That Adidas one from early 80’s is sweet. Just before I started watching so never seen it.

Nice.
Odd how some look better on a hanger than worn and vice-versa.
The 1946 remake looks great. The unionjackshirt looks worse in the flesh than in old b/w photos. I doubt that it was the inspiration for Nancy Mitford's "wigs on the green" but it would be a striking coincidence if not.

Cracking collection mate. Although I agree the green and white stripped one is probably the best away kit I’ve also a soft spot for the quasi Argentinian look shirt and the purple one. Something a little different from the normal bland red or white.

There’s someone on eBay doing replicas of the Coalite ones too. Look nice for a re-make

The 1946 re-make is actually one of my oldest shirts, bought it from a stall in market hall about 25 years ago

Thanks Merc
Agree..don't think you can beat any of the matchwinner shirts. Although the Adidas one is my outright favourite

I'd be interested in one of the Coalite ones, my first ever CFC shirts was one of those from Spire Sports behind the old Woolies and Clippers Hairdressers. Mine had long sleeves. Any chance of posting the ebay link?

What a site that is…. must give it a go instead of trawling around club sites or Ebay. If you sort by popularity, of 1083 shirts, our 84/85 promotion kit comes out third, with a ‘Legendary’ Keith Walwyn kit first of all.
These go to eleven.
