This board should be buzzing for tomorrow, instead we've got these two turd gurglers giving us all the inside info on a club we couldn't give a **** about

You're right it should, though it's not just these two (as annoying as they are) that have drained the atmosphere on here.

It's not just drained the atmosphere on here, it's drained it all over.....fa cup apart this should be my greatest time following the Spireites, I'm 48 and the Championship beckons and it's being tainted by people , you decide whoever or whatever, who will never have the feelings for the club that I do!
It's unforgivable.

There's 32 pages on here and numerous other threads that suggest you (as a collective) give a damn... And if you don't you probably should because the manager that has led you to your big chance clearly isn't happy if he is on the verge of joining a league two club. Or is that normal behaviour? Might be worth looking a little closer to home before making assumptions over the finacial state of Portsmouth.

Cooks wages at pompey less than half that, but compo pushing the 300k mark.
Are Ryan and Roberts any good?

If you put the tele on tomorrow night you will be able to judge for yourself as with the norm nowadays pompey's season is over at this stage, so you won't have a game to watch

Can we not stop talking about Town's tedious play off hopes? I, for one, really want to learn much, much more about the far superior Portsmouth and their history, fan base, financial status and budget, and particularly bell gimp. Could you wondrous Pompey fans please, please keep talking right over the commentary tonight to drown it out completely? Turds.

But no one posting about Pompey on the Pompey message board......so don't start talking about looking close to home......why don't you go close to home and f*^# off to Pompey Internet land
A new hope.

Exactly !
What really worries me is that notion that 'we haven't got our finger on the pulse' and its all the more unbelievable that a successful businessman would allow HIS club, the club HE owns and is responsible for, to languish for so long with regard to all these financial issues. Like other posters, have repeatedly asked .... "Where is the money going?" .... Surely, DA must have been asking this same question ?? Personally, if this question wasn't answered pretty damn quick, then I would be replacing my CEO and bringing in some independent financial expertise to uproot and expose these issues. It's going to kill the club, if it isn't sorted soon .... and IMO it's the root cause of all this upset that we've all witnessed recently. Although, with no disrespect to DA, the fact that he wants his money back, understandable as it might be, isn't helping matters either. But perhaps if he was just prepared to keep throwing money at the club, it would just be a matter of papering over the financial cracks.
I believe while ever we have this current CEO in place, it might just continue getting worse ..... and selling our best players only helps matters for a limited amount of time .... not to mention ruining the squad in the mean time !

Excellent post.

As I said on the other thread, 'M', that's simply not true.

But hey, that's The Sun for you.
