Grigg has done really well and I am a fan. But he is certainly not the best striker this league has ever seen

Ok pal, who is then?

I think signing Grigg was an absolute masterstroke by PC and he must be near the top of the list.

I liked Geoff Horsfield when he was at Halifax.

Mullin was too good for this league anyway, but enticed by £££.

With Cookie, you just never know. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas back here if he can get him for nothing. And then there's that Max Mata, back at Sligo Rovers and scored 2 last night against Drogheda - fell out of favour at Shrewsbury.

Come on people, stop the petty bickering.

We could do with an end of season WWE style 'Royal Rumble' for all the bickering fans to clear the air for next season in the Football League.
Every 30 seconds chuck another bickering fan into to ring to battle it out.
My money is on Bonnyman - the only person who can lap Will Grigg over 30 yards!

Watching the match told me all I need to know regarding Dallas.
Not got a decent 90mins in him. Burst of pace early doors for pen and a shot the keeper should saves anyway.
Surely by now he should have got up to full fitness? NL might actually be his level

I believe he’s spent more time sitting on the bench than gracing the turf at Oldham and, as yet, hasn’t scored a single goal.

When he first came to us he missed a number of chances he should have buried but, in fairness, he did well once he got his first goal.

However, it didn’t take Barnsley long to ship him out and he pulled no trees up in Bonnie Scotland either. He previously dropped to NL level from the EFL so perhaps this is his level.

As such, I think Cook will have better lined up and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a player already performing at EFL level or a good young’un about to be released or on loan from higher up.

A summer spent in town drinking VKs instead of pre season will do that to a player.

We may have a gem in Bailey Hobson. Why not develop him into a first choice striker

Personally thought Dallas had a good game. As others say, he is clearly lacking fitness for whatever reason but I doubt that would be the case if he was here. He is certainly a player I like for his pace and ability to get in behind and I definitely wouldn't pass off the opportunity of signing him if it arose. Nevertheless I do believe he has burnt his bridges and we won't see him back!

Because he's not a striker, he's an attacking midfielder!

Again I fail to see what improvement, if any, Dallas would bring. During the game their commentators noted inability to last 70 minutes never mind 90 and you got the impression this was based on a number of showings. You can’t blame lack of pre-season because season is nearly over and he has had plenty of time to get fit. I don’t believe he has the mindset to be a professional footballer which is frustrating because he has talent but no work ethic and we’ve seen enough of those over the years, we don’t need another.

I missed alot of his good work on Satday due to the stream going down. Who is he most like in our squad?

Played very well on Saturday! composed and confident on the ball, good finish for the goal and brilliant run for the penalty. I would say he is most similar to Mandy (albeit more of a central player than out wide), good technique but not full of tricks like dobs or overly fast like colclough. Certainly looks like a good prospect!

I watched him play for Kiddy and he played central and he was bombing passes out to both left and right. Very like Banksy.
It will also be interesting to see whether his aggressive streak can be developed so he can play further back.
