The number of matches that are goalless in the second half after a few in the first means you are not out of the money yet

I know Sterling had a hand in that third goal and he needs a confidence goal but - especially in this heat - is pull him and Kane off soonish. It’s all about saving legs and preserving energy levels now. Just one more goal would give us the leadership of the group going into the Belgium game, which’d be nice. That would come from the fresh subs with summat to prove.

Good move but wot? No Rashford? Ha ha ha - there’s 6. In quality style! Time for the slippers and smoking jacket.
