This does make business sense.

My bonus is largely tied to the performance of the business, not my individual performance.

Goals and wins should put bums on seats, the clubs main source of income, but as we saw last season that's not always the case.

It makes you wonder where we found the money, in the close season, to pay the £20k promotion bonus to every squad member for last season.

(That's if it has been paid yet......)

A friend worked at the club at the time, one game when the attendance was announced under 7k, he said that lester, and 2 other players went to see Hubbard (I think) and asked if it was the true attendance, as there was no way that another 3000 could've fit in the ground

It was pretty early on, when all the debates were going on about attendances

Fifa's ruling is that if a player is registered at one club as one window closes he cannot be registered at another club until the next window opens. Fifa's ruling is unlawful.
