and that you were too busy to chase it. thats fair enough BTW.
we play them next week how about you ask the club officials and find out how thier event went, and then see if its worth us doing the same.

what did the bees trust say regarding the "open turnstile" day? did the bees trust find a positive outcome?

We are looking at this further. Brentford are not the only team to do it but there was a background to their event in terms of some ticketing problems. Incidently we nearly had a "free" game in the early nineties. This wasn't fully free because you had to buy a newspaper and the publishers were to pick up all the gate charges but they backed out.
You still have to pay the FL what they would have got and there is a question mark over VAT.

Swindon was a free game in the 80's....
well for all those who didnt go on the friday night when the floodlights failed... replayed next day with free entry.... think about 5000 turned up

There was a couple of thousand there for the Friday night game and then for the Saturday it was absolutely heaving If I remember. There was only 2 floodlights working and it was dark in one corner or something, the players wanted to play, but the ref wouldn't let the game go on.....
