Bournemouth, seems to be a lot of tragedy to piggyback
So we shouldnt allow anyone in because one of them might be a wrong un? not all doctors are good uns (shall we start with Shipman) so we can cross them off, what other careers were you advocating we allowed in...?
And of course there are lots of locals who carry out similar attacks... should we send them home?
We know you dont like multiculturalism, but if you think the UK economy can survive without imported labour then you are severely lacking... so how do you decide who can come in and who cant? -

Didn't know that. My trainers are Norman Walsh a British company. I will where possible always buy British
But made using Singer sewing machines which were made in Vietnam probably. We live in a global world and much as we like to back British (both my cars have a British badge on, although one is Indian owned and made in Austria and the other is German owned and made in the Netherlands....)
And the profits are probably syphoned through a bunch of intercompany trades at agreed transfer prices that meet tax rules but mean profits and tax go where they want it to...
Although my good work shoes are also english.... unlike my casual shoes are made somewhere in the far east (I'm too old for trainers...)Search & Destroy, on 02 June 2024 - 05:40 PM, said:

People are finally waking up
There is an election on, always encourages people to be a bit more gobby. They'll go quiet again on 5th July... -

Nope, but no doubt some extremist has wound that one up to do that.... whichever side of the coin they are on they are just as bad, we can all live in harmony, you dont have to agree with another persons view to be able to live in harmony with them if you are a grown up....

05 Jul 2023 - 20:10Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
Thanks
