Last season Cook had most of the business done early so they could all go on the pre season team bonding trip to Spain or wherever it was. Fully expect the same again this time around so expect more incomings in the next couple of weeks - take your pick from Macfazdean, Clucas, Ben Fox, Dejaune Brown etc as to whom they may be.

Would like us to go after Lee Evans too but that might be a stretch

Warne told me a few weeks back that he wants Daj to go to Spain with the Derby squad but that could have changed. I’ll find out for definite on him but don’t want to bug him too much whilst he’s on holiday 😂

There’s a couple of rumours with Tyrer that indicate it might not be set in stone. The most interesting being Everton are up ****creek with FFP and are going to cut their cloth big time in the summer so Tyrer naturally goes up the pecking order as a result of shifting some big earners off the books

He has had a substantial wage increase to sign on with them again, so they obviously think highly of hi

There’s a real chance of Everton going into administration as the take over from 77 partners is very unlikely to go ahead.

Tyrer might at least be on the bench next season or offered for sale
A new hope.

I liked Tyrer but there will doubtless be other options. It wouldn't bother me if Boot gets the gloves and we bring in competent cover.
We're on our way

In Ben Fox, good to see us in for a player offered a new contract by his League One club.

signed a new deal with Northampton today. Tidy footballer but he's had some very bad injuries over the last couple of years so not too disappointed to be missing out if the rumour had any substance

He’s one of about 5 keepers they have after Pickford….not short of options.

Tyrer is nowhere near the real deal as yet and I can't see him getting anywhere near the Everton bench for, at the very least another season. As others have said, Ryan Boot is a decent keeper for league 2 so no worries if Harry doesn't return.

Indeed, from our perspective we’re not putting everything on tyrer being here or not.

From Everton’s perspective selling pickford could well be sold, the Portuguese lads contract expires this June, Lonergan is 39 leaving feeling who they signed from Fleetwood a while back and tyrer

If you don’t have a lot to pee in, are in administration- your options for the bench might be very limited

It may be worth a cheeky £50k bid from town for the lad
A new hope.

I honestly wonder what your busuness clients would think if they viewed your embarrassing, infantile behaviour on here.
