Have all parents been reimbursed yet?

Nope, and they won't be.
The amounts shown as owing to them in the Liquidator's report is significantly less than their claims.

By Ashley's admission, CFC definitely owe the DS the wages of 2 young pro footballers for a year. The DS paid those wages in preference to paying parents back, so who CFC owe is debatable. Rumour has it that the DS also paid for other CFC employees as well. I wonder who authorised these arrangements?

The bill could run into millions.

It's a disgraceful way of operating.

I note that 'Trust' employees are sporting 'FBT' branded gear.

Okay, fair enough, their choice.

But my choice would be to totally shun a supplier that still employs the likes of Fitzgerald and Sutcliffe.

Apparently Sutcliffe is back coaching the development side, meeting them at the training ground at Gosforth before going back to Leeds

Back coaching or has never been away?
I'm guessing Carson knew nothing of this until it was brought to his attention?

It was thought he'd gone. Your guess would be right. I'm fairly confident in saying AC wants to see the back of him as much as the rest of us.

On the other hand, Ashley need only nip into Gosforth on his way home to ask for his money back. :D
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Looking back, is that the best legacy we can come up with for this very questionable enterprise?

I'm not up to speed on the whole debacle- is Liam Sutcliffe basically a bad man?
Is he a good coach?
What's his story?

You misinterpreted sarcasm as my guess. Unlike yourself, Moondog, I think Carson is a lying, deviant s###.
I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt, that you were just reporting what he told you but you do genuinely believe his guff, don't you?

If Ashley was asked face to face what he thinks is the real reason why this enterprise was set up, he would be laughed out of Town if he replied 'to find players for CFC'.

Yet further diversionary tactics from Mr. Carson.

No one gives a frig what the thick, daft lad is up to.

I'm told the Trust acquired 'FBT' gear before it's link-up with the CFCFDS purely because it was cheaper than Puma. I'm also told the newly formed ETC will be using Puma rather than 'FBT'.

Happy to put the record straight.

morning
In my opinion if Ashley wants us to put this sorry saga to bed, the time is fast approaching when he needs to publish a comprehensive audit report on all aspects of the ill conceived, ill fated link between CFC and the DS. Nail it, take the flack, get DA to sign it off, move on. There are people on here who can set the terms of reference for him.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

If like me you've been following this thread, you'll be tickled to know that the academy's latest two signings rejoice in the names of Jak and Knory.

If Ashley is in today, and is serious about getting his money back but doesn't fancy the trip to Gosforth, he could simply have a walk over Sheffield Road:
