Like to say thanks for making this available to all.
I do think Rico interviews well and deserves a chance. A valid point already made is if he wasn't tainted with Roys 'failings' he would have been a far more popular choice.
I'm sure there is a fair few of us who have / are part of something at work etc that we do not agree with the direction it is being taken and if the opportunity became available to us take it on in your own way, we would, and would begrudge others not giving us a chance as we were part of somebody elses regime.
Would anybody have saved us with the position we were in with confidence rock bottom, and injuries to key players, Ward and Allot, I think unlikely.
Rico ticks a lot of boxes for me, not necessarily all, but shows desire and ambition which are two of the key traits required to suceed in any walk of life, especially football management.
Also think his statement about reality and perspective needs to be taken on by a few around these boards and those half wits singing Rico out at Northampton when Ward was subbed. They must have been the self promoting experts who had failed to notice Ward hobbling along the wing for the previous 2 minutes signalling to be replaced.
Maybe not the most popular post I'm sure but honest and sincere.
Will still be down from Manchester again today hoping to see an improved passionate display and a bit of pride around the place, even when we are relegated.
Cheers
