Seems I forgot to sign out last night, thought I had but when I came back this morning I was still logged in, and it made me wonder does it really matter, does it cause any problems or any computer safety concerns? I don’t normally forget and will continue to log out after I have finished but I have noticed that no matter the time of day there is always someone logged on, do some of you not bother logging out?

It would only be an issue if someone accessed the site through your PC, the logged in / out status is stored only on your PC / user profile on a "cookie". Thjis means that if you clear your temp files and cookies you have appeared to have logged out of the website. Bearing this in mind, I guess it depends if you trust the other users of your PC whether you choose to log out or not. Even then, what's the worse they could do if they had nefarious intentions and were logged into Bob's Board? They could make you look like a Mansfield fan which would be fairly heinous.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Good point, especially as I have a treacherous Blunt fan in the household.

Luckily they are not normally literate so it is a bit less to worry about.
