Queue For Tickets

Just been past at 9:55 and queue has just reached corner of west stand.

Probably same as me...Cant get tickets online cos STs arent linked to their online account ... and cant buy on phone cos club arent answering the phone.

Extra quid per ticket a lot for Derbyshire folk! Definitely worth a 2 hour queue!

And if the club doesnt reply to emails asking for STs to be linked to customer accounts... not much else you can do but join the queue

It would be more helpful if the customer could do it via their online account without having to contact the club. I stand to be corrected but it seems a simple operation

Same problem here. Can see me putting in a whole day here just trying to get a ticket. Also had the dreaded RESOURCE LIMIT REACHED three times so far. It's no fun for exiles.

Club too busy to answer the phone, too busy to send an email, because they are dealing with the queue... that gets bigger because they are too busy to answer the phone or send an email!

I got there at 9:30 and the queue was to the west/south corner. Ticket windows opened about 9:50 and I got my tickets at 10:45. The queue is still to the corner, so about an hour wait and yes we had tea and coffee brought down the line before the windows were opened

It would be much better that way, however the club have told us to contact them, yet don't reply

One bloke had ended up coming down because it had let him add all the adult STs he was buying for, but not for the U12 ticket he needed.

I wonder if anyone else is, like me, getting a bit fed up with posters who smugly say ' I didn't have a problem with getting tickets by phone or online' ? The fact is that the club's ticketing system is abysmal and it should be better. I was one of those who couldn't get a Scunthorpe ticket by phone or online, so had to queue for 90 minutes. Eventually somebody suggested going to the desk in the main entrance, which I did. The lady there quickly sorted my season ticket seat and assured me the 'system ' would be told the next morning. On entering the turnstile on the night, my card refused to admit me, and the steward with the card reader informed me that the system was showing that my seat hadn't been paid for. As the match started I had to go on to the main entrance, where a lady said "Oh we've had lots of these". Ten minutes later she came back and said it was showing as not paid, but my seat had been sold to somebody else after I had paid for it ! She gave me a ticket for a different seat and I finally got in when the match had been going for 20 minutes. Now I've never had cause to complain about anything at the club, but nobody can tell me that is excusable or acceptable. I wonder how many others had the same experience?
