I’ll miss those big away followings taking over grounds …we won’t get that in League 2
Away days at the likes of Dorking…gorgeous place…loved first match of the season last year….York away with that massive away following last year aswell
I won’t miss the shithousery tactics of thug teams like Solihull, Bromley etc etc
It’s been 6 years of friggjng pain let’s be fair….lets hope Cookie takes us back to League 1 & next time, even closer to the Championship….with this hierarchy in charge everything is possible

Today has felt better than any other in the 40 years of supporting my beloved Chesterfield FC

it's a craaaapness we've had to endure, for me town are a level 3 club so we step up to a level i still consider us to be above, it will be tougher for sure but we should have ambitions to not even make league 2 our norm.

I would have said, being live on TV a few times each season but streaming has rendered that moot so….. nowt.

I'm going to get shot down for this but on the whole national league TV has been OK for me, allowing me to watch just about every match.
What awaits in the leagues streaming wise I'm not sure.
That's it though.

Streaming is loads better in the EFL as they use Sky bet platform and watched quite a few and a massive improvement

I would quite happily not go to the last two home games now. Leave it at that. Done.

Apart from the obvious few hostile clubs, The friendliness of the genuine football banter with genuine opposing fans in the away pubs. We wont get that in L2.

There are at least half a dozen likely opponents next season that will offer low profile/friendly opposition in terms of the fans.

My mother's reaction yesterday.....
"So does that mean you don't have to play any of the remaining games?"

Some of the smaller grounds but that novelty wore off soon enough. Being a big fish in a small pond. Being referred to as a massive club. Winning more games than we lost. Quite enjoyed the last three seasons but relieved it is all over. It's been a difficult experience but hopefully we have gained momentum and perhaps it has made us stronger in the long run.

Won’t miss the visits to York Road, Maidenhead and also the poor referees we’ve seen over the six campaigns.

The refs are no better, where did they come from?

I would be surprised and disappointed if we didn’t win more than we lose next season.

One plus is the increased attendances and that should continue with what I expect to be record breaking season ticket sales.

The trophy being presented added to that feeling.
